Erins Law 

The prevention programs offered through the CAC are based on Erin's Law curriculum. We use a program that is called Play it Safe. This program is tailored for specific class grades, are used to educate students on numerous topics related to their safety. The grades are presented to our third, fifth, and seventh grades. Additionally, ninth graders are offered the presentation as well. However, that is the school's discretion. Each step starts with basic safety rules concerning their bodies, how to say no, and identifying whom to tell if something like this happens to them or someone they know. As the school grade increases, so does education about serious topics that students need to know to keep themselves safe. For example, how to keep themselves safe online and different forms of abuse.
